About Abby Joy
Hello and welcome! I am Abby Joy, a dedicated Actress, Singer-songwriter and Model. I am truly passionate about what I do and give all of myself to each project. Film, theater and music is all a beautiful piece of art that I am deeply in love with. I enjoy seeing everyone bring their own personal touch to each project that I work on. When I am on set or behind a mic my job is to bring whatever I am doing to life! There is nothing more fulfilling to me than making my audience feel.
I have been acting since I was in middle school and found my love of film at The Academy of the Arts Denver. Song has been my words since I was a toddler. I began writing songs at 11 years old and never stopped. The guitar and piano were introduced to me as a tool to breathe life into my words.
Born in Illinois, my faith giving parents moved us to Colorado to begin our lives. The mountains are my muse and my family is my rock. Growing up in a family of eight, two dogs, two horses, and many other miscellaneous animals, I learned to love. My first big film project was Carl Jackson's The Jesus Freak, in which I moved on to three more feature films that year: The Charlie Charlie Challenge, The Prepper, and the 11th hour. I am blessed to be doing what I love and hope to be doing it for many years to come.
